" NWCC helped restore my confidence after a bad experience with another driving school. I took the 3 day course and passed my driving test at the first attempt. Thank you NWCC!"

Rachel Stephenson,
Warrington

"It was a great to learn with Rob, he gave me quite clear instructions that made even the more difficult things simple to understand. He built my confidence and when I did get some manourvre wrong he would explain what was required to correct the mistake and then we would practice the task again"

Garry McKenna, London

NWCC offer a full range of courses using an Automatic gearbox car.

Automatic gear boxes are becoming more popular in the UK, although not all driving schools offer driving lessons in automatic vehicle

Automatics are ideal for those struggling to learn to drive using a normal gearbox. An automatic car is much easier to drive, with starting , stopping, and steering all much easier to perform. An automatic car has only two pedals (accelerator & brake) and hence far fewer things to concentrate on for a novice driver.

This provides a benefit in that an automatic means there is no clutch pedal. This means you don't have to concern yourself about stalling the car, crunching your gears, or finding the biting point of the clutch. You are left to concentrate more fully on the road ahead.

As a result, learning to drive in an automatic car reduces out the amount of time needed to master the mechanical skills required for driving a normal multi speed gearbox.

NWCC have nice medium sized automatic cars for you to learn to drive in, and our patient driving instructors will teach you in accordance with your current skill levels and driving abilities so you will be in the best possible position to pass your driving test first time.

No Car Sharing With NWCC...
Not 20 hours driving and 20
hours watching!
Some "intensive driving schools" will tell you that to have two pupils in the car is the best way to take an intensive driving course.
Is that best for you or the
driving school?
They will get two lots of tuition fees whilst using only one instructor. You will get your intensive driving lessons divided by two.

We will leave it to you to decide which is most beneficial for you.
At NorthWest Crash Courses we don't believe that you can learn to drive by watching someone else from the back seat - otherwise driving instructors would not have been invented.

Does an airline pilot learn from the back seat? As mentioned before, lots of other "driving schools" want you to sit in the back seat and pay for the privilege.
